Job Description:
The Head of Operations will play a central role in managing, scaling, and ensuring compliance across our security service contracts nationwide. This is a high-responsibility position directly aligned with BRITSK9 LTD’s strategic expansion and quality assurance initiatives. The role includes:
Monitor and enforce standards like ISO 9001, COP119, NASDU, SafeContractor.
Leading internal and external audits, including ongoing implementation of ISO 9001.
Lead audits and ensure real-time SLA/KPI responses for clients
Maintain and grow client relationships at a senior strategic level.
Oversee recruitment, training, and compliance.
Handle emergency incidents with leadership and on-call direction.
Support budgeting and cost control across all operational functions, working closely with the finance team to ensure services are delivered efficiently and sustainably.
This is a strategic post requiring high levels of discretion, leadership, and real-time decision-making capacity.
Salary:
Average Annual Salary: £32,000 to £38,000
Working Hours and Schedule:
Shifts: Standard business hours, with occasional flexibility required for deadlines or critical tasks.
Weekly Hours: Full-time positions generally involve 37.5 to 40 hours per week.
Weekdays: Primarily weekdays, with occasional weekend work based on business needs.
Required Skills and Experience:
The role requires a comprehensive understanding of operational management within regulated service sectors, with a particular emphasis on compliance, service-level delivery, and strategic leadership. The ideal candidate must demonstrate:
Proven experience managing security operations or similarly regulated industries with multi-site contract delivery.
Sound knowledge of audit systems, compliance frameworks (ISO, HACCP), and service accreditation requirements.
Strong leadership in coordinating geographically dispersed teams and ensuring on-call operational readiness.
Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients, auditors, and internal stakeholders at a senior level.
The capability to support financial accountability, budget oversight, cost controls, and effective resource planning.
Qualifications:
Education: Master’s degree in Management with a focus on Health and Safety, Quality, or related discipline (preferred).
Certifications:
Health and Safety Certification (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent) – required
Quality Management Certification (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Six Sigma, or equivalent) – required
Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) – an asset
Minimum of 1 years of experience in operations or a similar managerial role
